Charity & Good Causes

Sheridan lends her support to a number of charities and good causes. You can read about the causes and charities Sheridan currently supports below.

VARIETY

In the UK there are more than 1.3 million disabled children and young people and nearly four million children living in poverty. Variety, the Children’s Charity exists to improve the lives of these children. Sheridan is proud to be awarded a ‘Legend Of Industry Award’ and support the charity.

PANDAS

PANDAS is a community offering peer-to-peer support for you, your family and your network. The organisation helps mothers if you’re struggling with helplessness, low mood, anxiety or have any concerns about your health during or beyond your pregnancy.

Doncaster pride

Doncaster Pride is a registered Charity that works for and on behalf of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT+) community in Doncaster. Doncaster Pride's annual event takes place every year in August. 

Screen Doncaster 

Screen Doncaster is a micro business that maintains several film and video archives including the Smith’s of Doncaster and Surrounding areas. It amounts to over 6000 items produced by or donated to the production companies and studios.  Most significantly it contains the Bygone Films series.

Northern Battle of Britain Memorial

The Memorial is being built on land adjacent to the South Yorkshire Air Museum on the site of the former RAF Doncaster.

The Memorialwill provide a northern focus for remembrance and will complement similar memorials at Capel-le-Ferne on the white cliffs of Dover and the National Memorial on the Embankment in London.
